COCOBELLE LAUNCH

CocoBelle launched their first event at the stunning venue, Copdock Hall in Suffolk. Marking the end of the summer, guests were given our homemade CocoBelle cocktail ‘The Plum Gin Sling’ while enjoying a private exhibition showing the works of Pete Hawkins, Jo Hollis, Jeremy Fraser, Rebecca Hawkins, Georgie Mason and Tish Corbett.

Guests were then seated for a 4 course dinner by our guests chefs, the mother/daughter duo Sarah and Polly Wedderburn (1st time collaboration)

During pudding, our guest speaker Adam Green, founder of The Prison Choir project, spoke to us about how his charity works within prisons and how it inspires inmates to be part of a positive community. As well as sharing his experiences and the benefits of the charity, he got all of the CocoBelle guests singing as an example of how a group of amateurs can make a beautiful sound!

During our event, we were hugely grateful for the support of local suppliers such as: Reliquum Gin, Curved Door roses, Big Fat Disco lights and George Scott olive oil

WINTER WARMER

Our second event marked the end of New Years resolutions and an excuse to have a good night out with friends. Surrounded by a moat and within 240 acres, Boxted Hall is steeped in history and family heritage and offered the perfect setting for our CocoBelle Winter Warmer.

Guests were welcomed with our homemade Aspall cyder Mojito while they got the chance to view our latest collection of local artists: David Riches, Georgina Barclay, Rebecca Moss Guyver, Jo Hollis and Anna Dixon-Smith.

With a ring of a school bell, guests were ushered through to the historical grand dining hall where they were given a mouth watering 4 course dinner prepared by our guest chef Lin from Gather and Feast Events.

Our inspiring guests speaker James Shone from the charity ‘I Can and I Am’ spoke during pudding and rendered us all silent with his personal story and how he’s used his experience to channel confidence into young people.

In addition to our ever supporting guests, we were hugely grateful for the support of local suppliers such as: Aspall Cyder, Lucy Toms Photography, Tiptree sauces, Denston Hall Venison and Geodhuis wines.

SUMMER SENSATION

Basking in sunshine and moments before school holidays, we brought CocoBelle to the lovely Suffolk venue Dove Barn. It was a perfect space to showcase some of our new artists: Stephen Henderson scupture, Annabel Pope, Becky Munting, Bea Forshall, Pete Hawkins and Anna Dixon-Smith.

While our guests refreshed themselves on our homemade Limoncello Cooler cocktail , they were entertained by the Essex Youth Jazz band who are under the umbrella of the Essex Community Foundation.

Dinner followed in the adjacent barn on long tables and our guests feasted on delicious food prepared by Min of Pure Bespoke Catering.

Finally, a fascinating and entertaining talk was given by Ralph Taylor, Global Head of Contemporary Art at Bonhams. He gave us an insight into the art world, including tips on buying and selling art. He even auctioned the CocoBelle ladies off to cook dinner in someone’s home in aid of the ECF.

Once again, we were grateful for the support of local suppliers such as Giffords Hall Vineyard, Lucy Toms Photography and Pure Plant Based Pesto.

HEDINGHAM CASTLE

A rare and incredibly original venue to host our fourth event. Steeped in history and standing tall with views across the Essex countryside, Hedingham Castle created the perfect stage.

Entering at the first floor, guests were treated to an original apple brandy mule cocktail (thanks to Reliquum) while they viewed some new original pieces by artists David Riches, Catherine Cazelet, Rachel Shaw Ashton, Louise Craigie, Nat Young and Janet French. Mouthwatering canapes were also provided by our incredibly talented chef Pete Harrison.

Guests were led downstairs to the stunning lit dining area where they were served a three course dinner by our guest chef Pete Harrison. Even with the confinements of a small porto cabin he was still able to create a masterpiece menu.

During pudding our fabulous and entertaining guest speaker Santa Montefiore regaled tales of her experiences as an author sharing her insight into how she secretly immortalises people she knows into her novels.

Huge thanks go to our wonderful suppliers who help to make these events happen such as: Lucy Toms Photography, Pete Harrison, Reliquum, Hedingham Castle, Nethergate wines and CMA Hire.
